Our Heirloom Tomato Toast has made its way back onto the menu with toasted sourdough, heirloom tomato, cucumber, high protein cottage cheese, chives, hot honey + bagel seasoning.
Make it a little more substantial with a poached egg, smoked bacon or smoked salmon on the side.

You know those chefs whose dads were chefs too? That’s Naresh. He grew up around it, and somewhere between watching his dad work and figuring out what he wanted, cooking just became his thing.
Six years ago he landed in Sydney to do his Masters in Hospitality, chasing a career he’d already fallen for back home.
Ask him about what he loves about working as a chef at Blackwood, and he’ll tell you it’s the team. Everyone’s supportive, the energy is good, and when service gets busy, they get through it together.
His go-to order never changes: a high protein bowl and iced tea (which kind of makes sense once you know he’s probably come straight from the gym)
Outside the kitchen, he’s planning his next trip or already on one, always chasing somewhere new he hasn’t seen yet.

To get to the coffee shop and breakfast/brunch restaurant located at Surf Lane in Sydney, you can take public transport by using the T4 train line and alighting at Cronulla station. From there, you can walk for around 10-15 minutes going to the direction of the beach until you reach Surf Lane.
Alternatively, if you prefer to drive, you can take the Kingsway road from Sutherland or Miranda until you reach Cronulla Esplanade. Turn right onto Surf Road and follow it until you reach Surf Lane. There are several parking options available nearby including street parking as well as car parks located on Surf Road and Gerrale Street.

One of the standout dishes is the Smashed Avo on toasted sourdough with za’atar, lemon olive oil, goats cheese, pickled beetroot, chilli, and mint. Another must-try is the Spicy BAE Roll with double smoked bacon, fried egg, cheddar, sriracha & lime mayo, crispy shallots all on a toasted milk bun.
If you have a sweet tooth, try the Gypsy Bread - French toast with maple & ginger roasted pears, blackcurrant puree, fresh blackberries, crushed pistachios and vanilla & cardamom crème anglaise. It's a heavenly combination of flavors that will leave you feeling satisfied.
For those who love savory dishes, the Heirloom Tomatoes Flatbread is a winner. Toasted flatbread topped with mixed heirloom tomatoes, labneh, fresh mint and crunchy spiced chickpeas all drizzled with aged balsamic and za’atar.
The Miss Piggy 2.0 sandwich is another highlight - soy glazed crispy skin pork belly with persimmon and dates spicy chutney all on seeded ciabatta roll.
Blackwood Cronulla also has great coffee to accompany your meal or just to enjoy on its own. The cafe has a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying some alone time.
