After 4 years I am very sad to say that we are saying goodbye to our Chloe (my poppet). 🤍🧡
Chloe, thank you so much for everything, for your love and support, for following us from the pub to the cafe and being the happy, smiley girl that our customers love every day.
We are very happy for Chloe as she starts her next chapter in her dream field of all things gym life! No doubt you will be amazing and they will love you.
We will miss you, I’ll miss being asked if you are my daughter, but I know we will still see you all the time. You have been a big and wonderful part of our lives.

What a year! I can’t believe we are at the end of 2025!
I never could have imagined the love that I would feel for my beautiful team. I mentioned at our Christmas party just how proud I am that when I look around I see one addition with the lovely Jade but apart from that I see the same beautiful faces as this time last year and that makes me endlessly proud to know that we (mostly me 😂, sorry John) must be doing something right. I’m forever grateful to each and every one of you and I love you all.
Some big things happened this year, Charley got her Ls, broke her arm and finished year 10, Summer left school to pursue her amazing future + she’s busy with tafe & is getting her Ps soon, Katie went on a big cruise & officially became the cafe manager, allowing me to return to the pub & she is smashing it, Chloe launched her own beautiful swimsuit business ‘Salt & Chlo’ & is planning her trip to Europe, Hayley moved into her own place & broke her arm (no more sport for Hayley allowed though credit due she was back at work a week later with a cast)Jade joined our team & has been the most wonderful addition, her smiling face brings so much joy & Darren started his own macaron business ‘Morris Macarons’ (it would be nice if he could start making them again for the cafe but anyway!).
As for myself & John not a whole lot has happened apart from work though we did welcome our puppy Winston into our lives recently. We are both very busy between the pub & the cafe, most of all we are just proud of the cafe & our staff.
To our amazing customers! What a blessing it is to have all of you in our lives, I wouldn’t be able to post anything if it wasn’t for all of you visiting every day with your smiling faces & supporting us, thank you, we hope to continue to see you all next year, we are so grateful for your loyalty.
We are closed tomorrow & reopen on January 2 so pop in today & grab your last coffee for 2025!

To access Main Street, you can take public transport by getting on the train to Central Station and then transferring to a bus that will take you directly to Main Street. Alternatively, if you prefer driving, follow the main road until you reach Main Street. You will be able to find parking in one of the many parking lots or street spots available nearby. Once you have parked, simply walk towards the shops and cafes along Main Street until you find the cafe/restaurant which should be on your right-hand side.
